While Senja only launched in January 2022, they have quickly gained a lot of traction and seen significant growth. The two founders, Wilson and Olly, have made it their mission to make testimonial collection faster and easier with Senja.

Challenge

With Senja’s rapid success, their needs also grew, and the pricing of their previous feedback tool became unreasonable for a two-man startup.

“Also, people weren’t really engaging in our Canny community. There was an occasional upvote and comment, but users didn’t leave much feedback.”

They knew they needed a change and started looking for an alternative.

Solution

Wilson found Featurebase through Twitter. He had previously seen it used by other successful indie startups like Screen Studio, so he really wanted to give it a try.

“It looked awesome and modern. I just loved the design, feature set, and how you packaged everything.”

However, they needed a changelog popup feature, which many feedback tools, including Featurebase, didn’t have. Our team won Senja’s heart by shipping it within four days after their request.

After that, Senja started migrating from Canny, which Wilson described as shockingly easy.

Results

After Senja started using Featurebase, people are sending them tons of more feedback, said Wilson. The changelog popup feature has been crucial for keeping users in the loop and also incentivizes most of Senja’s feedback.
