Are you looking to improve your knowledge-sharing and management efforts in 2025? Tettra is a seemingly affordable option for an external and internal knowledge base that helps you with team collaboration and keeping your users up to date with the changes in your product.
Today, we'll show you how much this knowledge management platform costs and how it stacks up against other tools when it comes to pricing. 👇
Tettra pricing explained
Tettra has three pricing plans available: Basic, Scaling, and Professional.
You can purchase this knowledge management software with a monthly or annual subscription. In the latter case, you'll save 20% by paying for a year upfront.

There is no free plan available. However, there is a free 30-day trial for Basic and Scaling to try the tool out before committing.
Caviat:
You are required a minimum number of users on all plans. You can only purchase Basic and Scaling if you have at least 10 users, while the Professional plan requires a minimum of 50.
This means the minimum prices actually look more like this:
- Basic ($40/mo) - min 10 seats
- Scaling ($80/mo) - min 10 seats
- Professional ($600/mo) - min 50 seats
The Basic plan ($4/user/month)
The Basic plan costs $4 per user per month when paid annually or $5 when paid per month. You can only purchase this plan with a minimum of 10 users; the limit is 100. If you have 101, you'll be forced to upgrade to the Scaling plan.
In Basic, you get Slack notifications, questions and answers, Google Workspace integration, and web publishing.
Tettra has a seamless Slack integration but not much beyond that. The only other tools Tettra integrates with include Zapier, Google Workspace, and GitHub.
There is 1GB of storage per user and an unlimited version history. Regarding customer support options, you only get access to live chat.
Unfortunately, all the best options for team knowledge sharing and content creation are locked up in the Scaling plan.
The Scaling plan ($8/user/month)
The Scaling plan starts at $8 per user per month (or $10 when paid monthly), and you need a minimum of 10 users. You can go up to 250 users before you are forced to upgrade to Professional.
This unlocks the AI powered knowledge management set, including an AI bot in Slack, advanced permissions, usage analytics, and API access.

The AI feature set includes AI answers, AI page tagging, AI FAQ generation, and training with Google Docs. In Slack, you get AI answers in DMs and channels, AI thread summarization, and the ability to mine for answers in existing Slack communication. There's also unlimited storage available.
The knowledge management features also only become available in this plan. For example:
- Page requests
- Verification
- Stale pages reports
- Unowned content reports
- Public content report
And to help with real time collaboration, Tettra offers various levels of user permissions, such as:
- Guest users
- Read-only users
- Invite-only categories
- Page locking
- Group permissions
You still have live chat as your only customer support channel.
The Professional plan ($7,200/year)
The Professional plan costs $7,200 per year, which covers the first 50 users in your team.
Some of the things you get in this plan are:
- A dedicated customer support manager
- Single sign on (SSO) & SCIM
- Hands-on user training
- Custom import and onboarding
- Custom user training
You also get priority support.
